Responsibilities

• Coordinate and drive deliveries to meet the production schedule with internal customers.

• Compile and review production schedules, reports, and WIP status.
• Explain concepts to customers through words and drawings.
• Work with senior management to develop day-to-day job information from drawings and specs.
• Report issues on equipment, tooling, or resources affecting production flow.
• Manage product organization and control with respect to delivery schedules.

About the role

UCT is looking for a talented Expeditor III to join us in Cebu. You will work with internal customers to coordinate and drive deliveries to meet the production schedule, demonstrating a strong understanding of production schedules and production processes. This role is critical in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where you will manage work-in-progress jobs and ensure production flow is optimized.

Key responsibilities

• Work with internal customers to coordinate and drive deliveries to meet the production schedule
• Identify when delays to delivery schedule or production impacts occur and communicate needs to action owners
• Arrange disposition of jobs to meet production schedules
• Compile and review production schedules, reports, and status/location to approach jobs in various stages of WIP
• Demonstrate to the customer their understanding through words and drawings
• Work with senior management to create and compile day-to-day job-specific information through the use of detailed drawings, customer-supplied specifications, and customer interaction
• Report any issues on equipment, tooling, resources, or anything that can affect production flow
• Manage product organizing, integration, and control with respect to production delivery schedules

About you

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2-3 years related experience, preferably in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• At least a year of purchasing or planning experience
• Strong understanding of production schedules and production process/sequence
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
