Job summary

UCT in the Philippines is seeking a Planner II to join the production planning team. The role focuses on communicating and planning the build plan to meet customer demands and ensure timely delivery.

The planner will monitor schedules, coordinate with suppliers, and work with cross‑functional teams to optimize production plans and resource readiness. A Diploma in Business or related field is required with 1–5 years in production planning.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma related in Business or any related Engineering field.
• Work Experience: 1 – 5 years of Production planning.
• Must be able to read technical details on a weldment print.
• Experience with manufacturing field is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to use ERP estimating systems such as Visual, Vista, Oracle, etc. MS Excel, Word and Access.

Responsibilities

• Plan production build plan in according to customer demands.
• Follow up production plan to ensure resources and materials readiness.
• Review production plan to identify and report potential risks to manager.
• Assist in production activity control to meet production objectives.
• Review work order and establish priorities and schedule.
• Monitor work order and adjust schedule for on time delivery.
• Monitor materials movement in production cycles to ensure continuous operation.
• Coordinate with manager in resolving production planning and control issues.
• Work with cross-functional teams to complete work order on time delivery.
• Communicate production update to manager on a regular basis.
• Work and coordinate with vendor demand and requirements.
• Reply to any vendor queries.
