D2B in Manila is seeking a skilled CAD Designer to take client briefs from concept through production drawings for exhibition environments and freestanding structures.

You will be proficient in AutoCAD and 3ds Max, produce 2D/3D drawings and photorealistic renders, and collaborate with fabricators, joiners and installers to deliver buildable, cost-effective solutions.

Qualifications

• Advanced AutoCAD proficiency is essential.
• Strong 3D modelling and visualisation skills using AutoCAD and 3ds Max.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Interpret client briefs, brand guidelines, functional requirements and project objectives.
• Develop concepts for exhibition environments and custom displays.
• Produce accurate 2D CAD plans, elevations, sections and construction details.
• Create detailed 3D CAD models using AutoCAD and Autodesk 3ds Max.
• Produce high-quality photorealistic renders using 3ds Max, V-Ray and Corona Renderer.
• Prepare production drawings, shop drawings and construction drawings.
• Translate concepts into buildable, cost-effective solutions.
• Design joinery, display units, counters, walling and freestanding structures.
• Incorporate modular exhibition systems into environments.
• Specify materials, finishes, fixtures and construction methods.
• Prepare artwork and presentation content.
• Revise designs quickly in response to feedback and onsite conditions.
• Liaise with producers, fabricators, joiners and installers.
• Review drawings for accuracy and production readiness.
• Manage multiple design projects and meet deadlines.
• Has at least 5-7 years experience in Designer / CAD Drafter role in Exhibitions or Retail fit outs.
