Job summary

Swissôtel Clark is seeking an experienced Head of Housekeeping to lead all housekeeping operations, including rooms, public areas, laundry and uniform services, while upholding Swiss brand standards and rigorous cleanliness protocols.

The role requires 5–8 years in progressive housekeeping with 2–3 years in leadership, plus strong cost control, quality management, and professional communication. Proficiency in Opera/HotSOS and MS Office is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field is required.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in housekeeping and team management.
• Strong cost control, quality management and SOP adherence.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with Opera, HotSOS or equivalent hotel systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage all Housekeeping operations, including Rooms, Public Areas, Laundry, and Uniform services.
• Enforce strict compliance with brand standards, hygiene protocols, and quality benchmarks.
• Maintain guest satisfaction through rigorous cleanliness and timely service delivery.
• Oversee manpower planning, scheduling, and productivity metrics.
• Monitor and control departmental budget, expenses, and inventory (linen, chemicals, supplies).
• Establish and enforce SOPs and safety regulations across operations.
• Conduct inspections, audits, and quality assurance checks.
• Train and lead the Housekeeping team to ensure performance and accountability.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Engineering, and other departments for operational continuity.
• Address guest feedback professionally and document resolutions.

• Maintain guest satisfaction standards through rigorous cleanliness protocols and punctual service delivery
• Oversee departmental manpower planning, scheduling, and productivity metrics
• Monitor and control departmental budget, expenses, and inventory management (linen, chemicals, supplies)
• Establish and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety regulations across all operations
• Conduct systematic inspections, audits, and quality assurance checks
• Supervise, train, and manage the Housekeeping team to ensure consistent performance and accountability
• Coordinate with Front Office, Engineering, and other departments to maintain operational continuity
• Address guest feedback and service concerns with professionalism and documented resolution

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field (required)
• Minimum 5–8 years of progressive Housekeeping experience, with no less than 2–3 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity
• Demonstrated expertise in hotel housekeeping operations, systems, and industry standards
• Documented evidence of success in team leadership, cost control, and quality management
• Advanced communication, problem-solving, and organizational capabilities
• Proven ability to perform effectively in demanding, high-pressure operational environments
• Proficiency in MS Office and hotel management systems (e.g., Opera, HotSOS, or equivalent platforms)
