Job summary

Moneybacker is seeking a Controller to guide accounting and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic insight. The role includes talent acquisition and development within the finance team and providing financial analysis to support leadership decisions.

The ideal candidate will lead monthly and annual closings, maintain QBO reports, supervise treasury activities, and ensure timely, transparent reporting to executives in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Requires QBO experience and solid accounting knowledge.
• Minimum 2 years of director-level finance leadership.
• Must manage daily cash flow, payroll, and core finance ops.

Responsibilities

• Lead Talent Acquisition & Development including recruitment and onboarding of tax and AR specialists; create learning materials.
• Oversee Financial Operations & Controls: bank reconciliations, intercompany, GL, AP/AR, payroll.
• Lead Reporting & Strategic Analysis: monthly/quarterly/annual closings, maintain QBO reports, present to executives.
• Manage Cash Flow: daily cash balance, cash forecasting, working capital optimization, asset protection.
