The Events Production Manager bridges the gap between creative design and flawless physical execution. The core mission of this role is to oversee the entire lifecycle of event logistics, venue integration, technical execution, and end-to-end print and fabrication production. You will ensure that every brand activation is delivered safely, seamlessly, on time, and with the highest level of visual and structural quality.
Essential Functions
Print Production & Quality Control:
- Manage the fabrication and large-format printing of all event assets (backdrops, stage graphics, directional signage, wraps).
- Review print proofs for strict color accuracy (CMYK/Pantone), resolution, and material integrity.
Vendor & Material Procurement:
- Source, negotiate with, and manage third-party suppliers, print shops, structural fabricators, and technical A/V partners to maximize budget efficiency.
On-Site Execution (Ingress to Egress):
- Lead on-site teams during setup and teardown.
- Directly supervise the flawless application of printed graphics (stickers, vinyl, fabrics) to ensure zero bubbling or misalignment, and handle live technical stage management/show calling.
Site Inspections & Logistics:
- Conduct detailed venue surveys to assess layout feasibility, rigging points, power availability, and surface types for graphic installations.
Budgeting & Documentation:
- Build operational master documents (ingress/egress schedules, technical cue sheets, run-of-shows).
- Maintain strict cost control over material, print, and labor expenditures.
Essential Skills
Print Production & Material Expertise:
- Deep knowledge of large-format printing processes, color management, and material substrates (sintra, acrylic, tarpaulin, panaflex, canvas, vinyl wraps).
Technical Event Literacy:
- Sound understanding of professional audio, lighting, staging structures, and technical floor plans.
Crisis Management & Rapid Problem Solving:
- The ability to stay calm, adapt quickly, and solve logistical or structural issues on-site under high-pressure, live-event conditions.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration:
- Strong interpersonal skills to seamlessly align with internal Account Managers, Project Managers, and Creative teams to protect the integrity of the design concept.
Requirements
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in technical event production, fabrication, or print management within a creative agency, production house, or experiential marketing setting.
- Mobility & Travel Flexibility: Highly adaptable and able to travel anytime for out-of-town or regional work as dictated by campaign locations and multi-city activations.
- Portfolio/Track Record: Proven history of successfully managing physical event setups, premium branding rollouts, and large-format print applications.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for managing high-profile corporate clients, specialized suppliers, and local event manpower across various locations.
- Schedule Flexibility: Full willingness to work irregular hours, overnight shifts for ingress/egress, weekends, and holidays based on project schedules.
