E-Vantage Motors Inc. in Mandaluyong is hiring an experienced Automotive Technician to diagnose and repair EVs, hybrids, and conventional vehicles. You will perform preventive maintenance, use OEM software and scanners, and ensure adherence to dealership quality standards.
You will also mentor junior technicians, coordinate with Service Advisors, and maintain accurate service records while staying updated on the latest automotive technologies.
Perform advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of electric vehicles (EVs) as well as internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles and hybrid systems
Handle complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic repairs across vehicle models
Conduct preventive maintenance, periodic servicing, and detailed inspections following manufacturer standards
Safely manage and service high-voltage EV systems and components when applicable
Utilize advanced diagnostic tools, OEM scanners, and software for accurate fault detection
Lead and mentor junior technicians, providing guidance on technical issues and repair procedures
Ensure all service work meets the dealership quality standards and customer expectations
Coordinate with Service Advisors on job progress, findings, and recommended repairs
Perform Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) and ensure vehicles are in top condition before release
Maintain accurate service records, job cards, and parts usage documentation
Stay updated with the latest automotive technologies (EV, hybrid, and conventional systems)
Support continuous improvement of workshop efficiency and service quality
Graduate of Automotive Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (TESDA NC II/III or equivalent is an advantage)
Minimum of 5+ years experience as an automotive technician in a dealership or similar environment
Strong experience in both EV systems and conventional vehicles (gasoline/diesel engines)
Certified or trained in EV high-voltage systems is an advantage
Solid knowledge of automotive diagnostics, electronics, and mechanical systems
Experience in a premium or luxury automotive dealership is highly preferred
Proficient in using diagnostic tools, scanners, and OEM software
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and technical skills
Detail-oriented with commitment to quality workmanship
Willing to undergo continuous technical training and certifications
