Job summary

Wilde is hiring a Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team at High Street, BGC. The role involves managing a station, cooking to our European-inspired standards, and guiding Line Cooks during service.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience as a CDP and strong knowledge of food safety. European cuisine experience is a plus; culinary education is advantageous. This role offers a fast-paced environment with opportunities to grow within Wilde.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar kitchen position.
• Experience in European cuisine is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage and operate an assigned kitchen station efficiently
• Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to Wilde's recipes and quality standards
• Supervise and guide Line Cooks within the assigned section
• Maintain consistency in food quality, presentation, and portioning
• Ensure proper food safety, sanitation, and kitchen hygiene practices
• Support smooth and efficient kitchen operations during service
• Assist the Sous Chef and/or Head Chef in maintaining operational excellence
• Help minimize food waste and control food costs
