Job summary

ISS STOXX is seeking a Research Analyst to join our Sustainability Solutions Research team in Manila. You will collect and analyze revenue-based data from corporate disclosures to assess the impact of products and services on deforestation and sustainable development.

Responsibilities include data processing, estimations, and responding to client queries, while collaborating with local and global teams to uphold our methodology and policy guidelines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant professional experience in a sustainability-related field or ESG research.
• Knowledge of sustainability reporting and financial reporting is advantageous.
• Familiarity with UN SDGs and deforestation-related issues is helpful.
• Excellent English language skills, both written and oral.
• Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Passion for ESG, responsible investment and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Systematic ESG data gathering from company disclosures and processing in line with ISS STOXX methodology.
• Collect, interpret, justify, and document data and analysis.
• Make estimations/calculations for data not directly provided.
• Respond to internal/client queries to ensure research aligns with policy.
• Participate in committees, projects or tasks beyond core responsibilities.
• Collaborate closely with project and team members.
