Job summary

ISS STOXX Sustainability in Manila is seeking a Research Analyst to join our Sustainability Solutions Research team. The role focuses on collecting and analyzing revenue-based data from corporate disclosures to assess how products and services portfolios impact deforestation and sustainable development.

You will work independently and with a global team, performing estimations and calculations where data is not directly provided, while upholding ISS STOXX's research methodology and guidelines.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of relevant sustainability experience.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in sustainability or related field preferred.
• Familiarity with deforestation, UN SDGs, and corporate financial reporting is an advantage.
• Excellent English written and spoken.
• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Passion for ESG and sustainable finance.

Responsibilities

• Systematic ESG data gathering from disclosures and processing in line with ISS STOXX Sustainability methodology.
• Collect, interpret, justify, and document data and analysis.
• Make estimations/calculations for data not directly provided.
• Attend to internal/client queries and ensure research aligns with policy guidelines.
• Participate in working committees and collaborate with team members.
• Closely collaborate with project and team members.
