Job summary

Nexperia Philippines is seeking an ESG Controller to integrate ESG requirements into controlling, performance management, and reporting. You will ensure ESG data meets governance, transparency, consistency, and auditability in line with CSRD/ESRS requirements and drive automation across data models and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Controlling, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Controlling, Finance, Reporting, Audit, or ESG roles.
• Strong understanding of ESG data, governance, and internal control frameworks.
• Experience with EU CSRD, ESRS, and EU Taxonomy is a plus.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as Senior ESG Controlling counterpart for CSRD/ESRS metrics and manage data governance.
• Apply controlling principles to ESG KPIs and data processes.
• Collaborate with Financial Controlling, Internal Controls, and stakeholders to align ESG data with group reporting standards.
• Perform quality reviews, variance analysis, and year-over-year comparisons.
• Support external sustainability disclosures with audit-ready documentation.
• Design and improve ESG-related internal control systems (ICS).
• Drive enhancements in ESG reporting systems and data models for automation.
• Ensure compliance with governance policies and external audit requirements.
• Serve as a subject-matter expert guiding ESG data owners on methodologies and reporting standards.
• Act as contact for internal/external auditors on ESG topics.
