S&P Global’s ESG Data Analytics team in Makati City, Philippines, seeks a data analyst to produce ESG analyses, reports, and models. You will address data issues, propose improvements, and contribute to new ESG data products, while applying rigorous analytical skills to complex datasets.

The role emphasizes in‑person interview at the nearest S&P Global office and collaboration to advance sustainable financial markets.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in data analysis, particularly ESG or financial data.
• Proficiency with SQL, Python/R, or advanced Excel for data extraction and reporting.
• Ability to assess urgency, prioritise tasks, and contribute to team discussions.
• Resourceful and solution‑oriented, capable of proposing process improvements.
• External candidates must attend at least one in‑person interview at the nearest S&P Global office.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality ESG data analyses, reports, and models.
• Identify data-related issues and suggest process improvements in ESG domain.
• Apply analytical skills to interpret ESG datasets and ensure accuracy.
• Contribute to development of new ESG data products or enhancements.
• Align daily work with S&P Global’s purpose and values to support sustainable markets.
• Work from the office at least 2 days per week.
