Job summary

ON.energy is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer (Manual Testing) based in Mexico to support ERP systems and business applications. You will gather requirements, analyze processes, and lead testing across Finance, HR, Inventory, and Procurement modules.

You will partner with stakeholders, IT teams, and ERP vendors to ensure reliable ERP operations and data integrity. The role involves leading UAT, validating data migrations, and providing Service Desk support for ERP environments.

Qualifications

Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
Proven ability to gather requirements and analyze business processes.
Hands-on ERP testing including integration and regression testing.

Responsibilities

Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders and end users.
Conduct business process analysis to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
Support ERP integration testing across modules and systems.
Design and execute functional test cases for ERP modules (Finance, HR, Inventory, Procurement).
Perform regression testing after ERP patches or upgrades.
Conduct interface testing between ERP and third-party systems.
Plan and execute UAT with business users; document scripts, results, defects, and sign-off.
Log and track defects through resolution using JIRA/ServiceNow/Azure DevOps.
Validate data migration accuracy during ERP upgrades or transitions.
Act as liaison between business users, IT, and ERP vendors to resolve issues.
Provide Service Desk support for ERP and general IT tickets.
