Job summary

Henan Daswell Machinery Philippines seeks an Equipment Mechanic / Plant Service & Installation Technician to inspect, maintain, troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment used in batching plants, crushers, silos, conveyors and related systems.

You will work with electricians, welders and project personnel on installation, rehabilitation and commissioning, performing preventive maintenance, safety checks, and documenting service reports. Willingness to travel to project sites is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate with a technical mechanical qualification.
• 2–3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance or plant servicing preferred.
• Ability to use common mechanical hand and power tools and read basic drawings.
• Willingness to travel to project sites and work at industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive maintenance and routine inspection of plant and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical problems involving conveyors, crushers, mixers, feeders, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, shafts, rollers, and other mechanical components.
• Perform inspection, adjustment, lubrication, alignment, and replacement of worn or damaged components.
• Dismantle and reassemble equipment for repair or replacement of parts.
• Assist in equipment checks and identifying causes of mechanical breakdowns.
• Perform emergency repairs and corrective maintenance when required.
• Assist in dismantling, relocation, assembly, and installation of plant equipment.
• Work with electricians during equipment connection, testing, and commissioning.
• Follow company safety procedures and site safety requirements and complete service reports.

About the role

The Equipment Mechanic / Plant Service & Installation Technician is responsible for the inspection, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, dismantling, assembly, and servicing of mechanical equipment used in batching plants, crushing plants, vibro plants, silos, conveyors, and related industrial equipment. The position will also serve as a mechanical support technician for plant installation, modification, rehabilitation, and commissioning projects, working closely with electricians, welders, fabricators, and project personnel.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct preventive maintenance and routine inspection of plant and equipment
• Diagnose and repair mechanical problems involving conveyors, crushers, mixers, feeders, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, shafts, rollers, and other mechanical components
• Perform inspection, adjustment, lubrication, alignment, and replacement of worn or damaged mechanical components
• Dismantle and reassemble equipment for repair, maintenance, or replacement of parts

About you

• Graduate of Mechanical Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive/Heavy Equipment Technology, or related technical course
• Preferably with 2–3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, heavy equipment, industrial equipment, or plant servicing
• Knowledge of mechanical troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, equipment repair, and basic fabrication
• Able to use common mechanical hand and power tools
• Able to understand basic mechanical drawings and equipment layouts
• Willing to work at project sites and travel as required
• Physically fit and capable of working in industrial and construction environments
• Able to work independently and as part of a project team
• Strong safety awareness
• Willingness to learn and work with different types of industrial equipment
