Job summary

CBRE Asia Pacific is seeking an experienced Engineering and Technical Manager in Makati City to lead nationwide building operations, maintenance, and energy management for accounts. The role includes P/L oversight for the engineering/technical services group and development of preventive maintenance procedures.

You will supervise staff, coordinate with site delivery teams, and drive improvements to asset reliability while delivering client value across the country.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering; licensed engineer preferred.
• Minimum 7 years in property management with progressive leadership experience.
• Experience managing P/L for engineering/technical services.
• Knowledge of asset maintenance CMMS systems (e.g., IBM Maximo, FaciliWorks).

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, coordinate and manage mechanical, electrical, and building operations across the country.
• Direct P/L of Engineering and Technical support group; oversee financial performance.
• Lead advisory content creation for technical consultancy and market thought leadership.
• Identify project opportunities; establish work orders and service delivery processes.

Job Description

• Plans, implements, coordinates and manages all mechanical, electrical & building operations/maintenance/ repair activities, minor works projects, communications, energy management, and manpower development programs for the accounts across the country to protect the client and CBRE against Asset failure, KPI failure and any potential risk.
• Directly manages profit and loss (P&L) of Engineering and Technical support group. Overseeing overall country technical services financial performance.
• Serves as the Engineering and Technical lead for advisory content creation that will be used for technical consultancy / advisory as well as market thought leadership initiatives.
• Responsibility for identifying project opportunities for both new appointments and existing projects. Establishing work order, delivery support infrastructure, and service request process.
• Develops and provides for ongoing improvement of preventive maintenance, engineering and operational procedures. Budgets and supports project and capital plans - in close coordination via site delivery teams.
• Provides formal and informal (dotted line) supervision to individual employees within single functional or operational area.

Experience

• At least 7 years of experience in the property management industry.
• Minimum of ten (10) years' experience and/or training and min 5 years' experience in managerial level. Knowledge and understanding of asset maintenance CMMS systems i.e. IBM Maximo, FaciliWorks, etc.
• Experience in managing to a P/L
• Certifications/licenses as may be required by local or state jurisdictions, where applicable

Qualifications
