Job summary

Private Advertiser in Manila seeks an Environmental Compliance professional with strong grounding in the Philippine EIS system (PD 1586) and experience with IEE and CNC/ECC requirements.

Fresh graduates are welcome; a Professional License (PRC) in fields like Environmental Planner or related disciplines is a plus, as is ongoing or completed Master’s study.

Qualifications

• Understanding of Philippine EIS System (PD 1586) and IEE/CNC/ECC requirements.
• Knowledge of DENR-EMB environmental laws (Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, etc.).
• Familiarity with LLDA guidelines and land/forest tenurial instruments is a plus.

Job description

• Fundamental academic or practical understanding of the Philippine Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) System (PD 1586) and basic EIA documentation (IEE, CNC/ECC requirements).

• Working knowledge of key DENR-EMB environmental laws (RA 8749 Clean Air Act, RA 9275 Clean Water Act, RA 6969 Toxic and Hazwaste, RA 9003 Solid Waste Management).

• Familiarity with LLDA guidelines and DENR land/forest tenurial instruments (e.g., FLAg, SLUP, foreshore lease) through coursework, research, or training is a significant plus.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Human Ecology, Forestry, Biology, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, Geology, Agriculture, or any related science/engineering course.

• o Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; relevant thesis, research work, or internship/OJT experience with environmental compliance or natural resource management is an advantage.

• o Professional License (PRC) (e.g., Registered Environmental Planner, Forester, Chemist, Agriculturist) is a plus point.

• o Any ongoing or completed Master’s units/degree (MS) is an additional point.
