Job summary

Puregold Price Club, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Specialist responsible for the overall environmental compliance and performance with respect to government regulations and internal programs.

The role serves as the company’s representative with government agencies on environmental concerns and coordinates corrective actions for issues like wastewater and solid wastes. Key duties include enforcing environmental laws across operations, and ensuring timely DENR reporting and permit renewals.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Environmental Science or any Engineering courses.
• Pollution Control Officer Accreditation.
• At least three years experience in Pollution Control Officer or Environmental Officer role.
• Willing to travel in any point of the Philippines.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the company's representative in dealing and transacting with concerned government agencies in relation to environmental concerns
• Frame corrective actions in case of environmental related concerns and problems including wastewater, solid wastes, and other pollutants
• Enforce and adapt existing environmental laws, administrative orders and local environmental codes in the company's operations
• Ensure timely submission of reports to DENR and renewal of permits
