Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking an Environmental Specialist to oversee environmental compliance and performance with respect to government regulations and internal programs.

The role requires representing the company with government agencies, coordinating corrective actions for environmental issues, and ensuring timely DENR reporting and permit renewals across the Philippines.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Environmental Science or Engineering courses.
• Pollution Control Officer Accreditation.
• At least three years experience in Pollution Control Officer or Environmental Officer role.
• Willing to travel in any point of the Philippines.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the company's representative with government agencies on environmental concerns.
• Frame corrective actions for environmental issues including wastewater, solid wastes, and other pollutants.
• Enforce and adapt environmental laws, orders and local codes in operations.
• Ensure timely submission of reports to DENR and renewal of permits.

About the role

The Environmental Specialist is accountable for the overall environmental compliance and performance of the company with respect to Government regulations and internal programs.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the company's representative in dealing and transacting with concerned government agencies in relation to environmental concerns


• Frame corrective actions in case of environmental related concerns and problems including wastewater, solid wastes, and other pollutants


• Enforce and adapt existing environmental laws, administrative orders and local environmental codes in the company's operations


• Ensure timely submission of reports to DENR and renewal of permits

About you

• Graduate of Environmental Science or any Engineering courses


• Pollution Control Officer Accreditation


• At least three years experience in Pollution Control Officer or Environmental Officer role


• Willing to travel in any point of the Philippines
