The ideal candidate has a degree in Environmental Science or Environmental Engineering, with awareness of permits, reporting, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related field
• Experience in environmental compliance, pollution control, or agricultural ops is a plus
• Knowledge of permits, licenses, compliance requirements, pollution control
• Familiarity with monitoring, documentation, and regulatory reporting
• Strong organizational, analytical, communication, coordination skills
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently on farm

Job Summary

The Environmental Science / Environmental Engineer is responsible for managing the farm's environmental compliance, permits, licenses, and pollution control programs. The role ensures that farm operations comply with applicable environmental regulations and standards, while supporting proper waste management, pollution prevention, monitoring, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor the farm's environmental permits, licenses, and other regulatory requirements
• Ensure compliance with applicable environmental laws, regulations, and standards
• Monitor and support the implementation of pollution control and environmental management programs within the farm
• Coordinate environmental monitoring activities, inspections, and compliance requirements with concerned personnel and regulatory agencies
• Maintain accurate and updated records, reports, permits, and other environmental compliance documents
• Monitor proper waste management, disposal, and pollution prevention practices within the farm
• Identify environmental compliance gaps and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive actions
• Coordinate with farm operations and other concerned departments to ensure consistent implementation of environmental policies and requirements
