Job summary

Skimmia is seeking a skilled graphic designer to join our branding team. You will work on visual branding, logos, promotional materials, and three-dimensional contexts, applying brand guidelines and ensuring production-ready files for printing and fabrication.

You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, transform concepts into engaging visuals, and maintain consistency across brand products.

Qualifications

• Experience using Adobe Creative Suite for branding and production-ready artwork.

Job description

Skills and Responsibilities

• Expertise in Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After effects, AutoCad)
• Working knowledge of Word, Excel and SketchUp
• Excellent design skills, and capable of pushing limits to explore creative possibilities when appropriate and a strong sense of design for three-dimensional context and environments is a must.
• Familiarity with signage fabrication, installation techniques, materials and construction specifications are required.
• Ability to prepare production-ready art files for fabrication
• Must be capable of reading and understanding architectural drawings
• Knowledge in graphic design software, basic knowledge of pre-press to release correct format files for production.
• Dexterity to develop graphic materials and cover the times required by both internal and external users.
