Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Environmental Data Management Specialist to support delivery of environmental data management solutions using EQuIS and Microsoft Access. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to apply best practices in data governance and visualization.

The role offers exposure to digital workflows, QA/QC procedures, and data analytics across project phases, contributing to high-quality deliverables for clients. Hybrid work arrangements are available.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Geology or engineering.
2+ years of environmental consulting experience.
1+ years in environmental remediation field work.
2+ years of data management experience, preferably with Access and EQuIS.
Exposure to databases or programming platforms (Access, SQL Server, Oracle, Python, etc.).
Understanding digital workflows across planning, mobile data collection, database management, analytics and visualization.

Responsibilities

Support the implementation of EQuIS data management solutions.
Contribute to data management: tracking, loading, QC, and delivery.
Learn and apply data governance, QA/QC, and best practices.
Develop competency across all phases of data management in EQuIS.
Assist with validation, analysis, reporting and visualization activities.
Collaborate with data managers, scientists, planners, engineers and technologists.
Develop consulting skills: initiative, adaptability, collaboration and client service.
Support project planning and delivery that is safe, on schedule and within budget.
