Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of data/software engineering experience with SQL, Python, and relational databases.
• Identify data anomalies, analyze datasets, reconcile discrepancies, and determine root causes.
• Reconcile data across multiple sources and investigate data quality issues via SQL-based analysis.
• Familiarity with Power BI reporting & visualization customization.
• Experience with Visual Studio, VS Code, or another equivalent platform.
• Experience with Streamlit applications is a major plus.
• Strong data manipulation skills for analytics.
• Excellent critical thinking to tackle complex data challenges.
• Strong organizational skills and very detail oriented.
• Exceptional collaboration and relationship building skills.

We are seeking a Data Management Engineer to support and maintain actuarial data assets, reporting platforms, and automation solutions. This role focuses heavily on production support, data operations, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of existing data pipelines, datasets, dashboards, and reporting processes.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Director of Data Management to ensure the reliability, accuracy, and availability of business-critical data solutions. The role combines production support, data engineering, business intelligence development, and process automation utilizing SQL/T-SQL, Python, Power BI, SSIS, and Snowflake.

Job Responsibilities
