Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biology, or a related field.
• Accredited Pollution Control Officer (PCO) is preferred.
• Knowledge of Philippine environmental laws and DENR regulations.
• Strong analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Willing to conduct fieldwork and site inspections.

Responsibilities

• Environmental monitoring through site inspections to ensure compliance with environmental laws and regulations.
• Prepare reports detailing assessments, violations, and recommended actions; maintain records of inspections and monitoring results.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations and issue notices when necessary.
• Advise businesses and municipalities on best practices to reduce pollution and improve environmental performance.
• Promote community engagement and environmental awareness programs on pollution prevention and sustainability.
• Assist in preparation, issuance, and renewal of environmental permits for industries and businesses.
• Collaborate with governmental agencies and organizations to address pollution issues and find sustainable solutions.
• Assist in preparation of Environmental Impact Assessments and management plans.
