Job summary
ACCIONA is seeking an Environmental Compliance Officer to support environmental assessment and monitoring on construction projects in the Philippines. The role focuses on ECC compliance, permits, CEMMP reviews, and reporting, with daily site inspections and coordination with project teams.
The ideal candidate holds an engineering degree and at least 3 years in environmental management, with knowledge of Philippine environmental laws and EMS ISO 14001. Excellent communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities
- Review Environmental Impact Assessment Study
- Prepare environmental impact assessment and social assessment
- Monitor compliance to ECC and EMB DENR permits
- Review Contractor's Environmental Management and Monitoring Plan (CEMMP)
- Conduct daily environmental inspection and monitoring on construction site
- Prepare environmental audit, inspection, incident and progress reports
- Prepare letters regarding air, water, noise, vibration; interpret data
- Address environmental incidents and mitigation measures
- Assist Environmental Manager in monitoring ElA, ECC, Permits
- Coordinate with Project Delivery Managers and staff to resolve environmental issues
- Ensure compliance with EMB-DENR regulations
- Attend meetings with Client/consultant/financing institutions
- Assist in public consultations
- Prepare Socio-Economic Profile
- Liaise with government authorities
- Develop environmental training for CEMMP implementation
