Responsibilities

Overseeing or working in Tool & Die service operations and adhering to internal working rules and guidelines.
Operating all shop machine tools and hand tools (e.g., precision lathes, drills, jig borer, milling machines, etc.).
Reading specifications and using specialized IT programs to design and calculate the tools.
Constructing and repairing tools, gauges, intricate fixtures with synchronizing parts, gauges, etc.
Assisting in initial ramp-up procedures for new tools, in testing and analyzing dysfunctionalities.
Providing setup and maintenance procedures for an assigned part of production, with a limited number and kind of machines.
Supporting higher-level technical maintenance and repairs technicians in their work.
Follows work instructions, maintenance and repair procedures as given to provide reliable service.
Documents work and results in the systems.
