Job summary

Vishay Intertechnology seeks an OJT technician in Manila to support Tool & Die service operations. You will operate precision lathes, drills, jig borers, and milling machines, reading specifications and assisting with tool design and calculations.

You will help construct and repair gauges and fixtures, assist in ramp-up testing for new tools, and document work results in the systems as part of a structured production support role.

Qualifications

• Experience or training in Tool & Die operations is preferred.
• Ability to read specifications and operate shop tools safely.
• Familiarity with basic tool design calculations and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Operate shop machine tools and hand tools (lathe, drill, milling, etc.).
• Read specifications and assist in tool design and calculation.
• Construct and repair tools, gauges, and fixtures.
• Assist in ramp-up procedures for new tools and test for dysfunctions.
