Job summary

Sumidenso Automotive Technologies Asia Corporation in the Philippines seeks a seasoned Leader for the Tool & Die fabrication team. You will supervise daily activities, interpret engineering drawings, and ensure production schedules are met.

The role requires mentoring junior technicians and driving efficiency and quality across operations. You will operate and maintain CNC mills, lathes, grinders, and EDM machines, perform quality inspections, and maintain detailed fabrication records.

Qualifications

Graduate of any 2- or 4-year vocational course.
At least 2 years work experience as Leader in a Tool & Die environment is an advantage.
Supervised and coordinated daily activities of the tool and die fabrication team, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to production schedules.
Interpreted engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications for tooling fabrication.

Responsibilities

Render support within the section to achieve company goals and targets.
Lead planning and execution; generate reports related to responsibility area.
Monitor smooth flow of operations in the assigned station and attend to technicians' needs.
Take over tasks in the absence of the immediate supervisor.
Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues and reduce downtime.
