Microchip Technology Inc. in the Philippines is seeking a Technician I-Equipment to support operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of semiconductor test equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

Graduate of technology courses like Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or related field (Associate or Bachelor's Degree).
Fresh grad or with less than one year of work experience in semiconductor/electronics company.
Basic knowledge of semiconductor or manufacturing equipment is an advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Good communication skills in English; able to speak and write fluently.

Responsibilities

Monitor and perform basic troubleshooting of test equipment to ensure high reliability.
Execute preventive maintenance and assist in equipment repairs.
Support equipment setup, conversion, and qualification activities.
Record and maintain accurate equipment logs and reports.
Work with Engineering and Production teams to meet output and quality targets.
Follow safety, quality, and operational standards.
