JOB SUMMARY
The Entertainment and Gaming Manager is responsible for the overall planning, development, coordination, and execution of all entertainment requirements of the Promotions Department, including gaming floor entertainment, promotional events, tournaments, and special activations.
The role oversees the sourcing, accreditation, negotiation, and management of talents, performers, hosts, dancers, and entertainment vendors to ensure that entertainment concepts are aligned with the department’s objectives, promotional calendar, target audience, and brand standards.
The position is responsible for managing the end-to-end entertainment process—from conceptualization, talent sourcing, scheduling, contracting, coordination, and venue readiness to on-site execution and post-event evaluation—ensuring all entertainment activities are delivered seamlessly, within approved budgets, and in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Entertainment Strategy, Planning, and Concept Development
- Develop entertainment concepts and plans that support gaming promotions, tournaments, special events, and player engagement initiatives.
- Recommend appropriate entertainment formats, themes, talents, and performances based on event objectives, target audience, and brand positioning.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure entertainment requirements are integrated into overall event and promotional plans.
- Continuously identify new entertainment trends, concepts, and opportunities to enhance the guest experience.
Talent Sourcing and Vendor Management
- Source, evaluate, and recommend suitable hosts, performers, dancers, musicians, and other entertainment talents for various events and gaming floor activations.
- Establish and maintain a strong network of talent agencies, artists, performers, and entertainment suppliers.
- Manage the accreditation, negotiation, contracting, and performance agreements of entertainment vendors and talents.
- Ensure all talents and suppliers comply with company standards, contractual requirements, and operational expectations.
Gaming Floor Entertainment Management
- Manage all entertainment activities within designated gaming areas and casino locations.
- Develop entertainment schedules and deployment plans to ensure adequate coverage across identified areas.
- Coordinate talent schedules, call times, venue requirements, and operational needs with relevant stakeholders.
- Monitor the quality and consistency of performances to ensure an engaging and premium guest experience.
Event and Promotional Entertainment Execution
- Manage entertainment requirements for all promotional events, tournaments, draws, and special activities.
- Coordinate with event owners, operations teams, technical teams, and other departments to ensure smooth execution.
- Conduct pre-event planning, rehearsals, briefings, and final checks with talents and suppliers.
- Provide on-ground supervision during events to ensure performances are executed according to approved concepts, schedules, and service standards.
- Resolve operational concerns and implement immediate solutions during live events.
Budget, Contracts, and Administrative Management
- Prepare entertainment-related budgets, cost estimates, and proposals for approval.
- Monitor entertainment expenses to ensure efficient utilization of approved budgets.
- Manage contracts, purchase requests, payment requirements, and necessary documentation related to entertainment services.
- Maintain accurate records of talent databases, contracts, schedules, and performance evaluations.
Stakeholder Coordination and Communication
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the Promotions Department and all entertainment partners, vendors, and talents.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure successful delivery of entertainment requirements.
- Provide timely updates on entertainment plans, schedules, concerns, and execution status to management and stakeholders.
Performance Monitoring and Continuous Improvement
- Evaluate the effectiveness and quality of entertainment activities through feedback, observations, and event outcomes.
- Identify areas for improvement and recommend enhancements to entertainment programs and processes.
- Maintain high standards of professionalism, creativity, and guest experience across all entertainment initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Events Management, Hospitality Management, Marketing, Communications, Business Management, or any related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in entertainment management, events management, gaming operations, hospitality, or related industries.
- Proven experience in talent sourcing, vendor management, event execution, and stakeholder coordination.
- Strong network within the entertainment industry is an advantage.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, project management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and execute high-quality entertainment programs in a fast-paced environment.
- Willing to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by business operations.
