Job summary

NEPSE Trading is seeking a Chief Risk Officer to lead the development and execution of the enterprise risk management framework across our businesses in the Philippines. You will define risk appetite, oversee regulatory compliance, and drive resilience through robust controls.

You will report to the Executive Team and Board, manage KRIs, lead BCP and crisis management, coordinate with internal and external auditors, and foster a risk-aware culture across units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
• Professional certifications (FRM, CRM, PRM, CRISC) are highly advantageous; a Masters degree is a plus.
• At least 4 years of leadership experience in risk management, internal audit, or compliance.
• Strong track record in enterprise risk management, governance, and internal controls.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to present risk insights to senior stakeholders and the Board.
• Experience in highly regulated industries (aviation, logistics, financial services, energy, telco, etc.) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation, and enhancement of the Enterprise Risk Management framework.
• Define and communicate the companys risk appetite and tolerance levels across all major business segments.
• Identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate risks across strategic, operational, financial, compliance, tech (cyber), and reputational areas.
• Establish and track KRIs and provide regular reporting to the Executive Team and the Board Risk Committee.
• Drive business continuity planning (BCP) and crisis management frameworks to ensure resilience.
• Oversee compliance with local and international laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Collaborate with business units to embed a risk-aware culture; coordinate with auditors and regulators.
