Job summary

Manulife seeks a seasoned Release and Deployment Manager in the Philippines to lead end-to-end release management for the Digital Storefront program. You will drive risk-managed delivery, ensure operational readiness, and collaborate across IT to enable reliable, repeatable deployments at defined service levels.

Responsibilities include planning, risk reviews, CAB coordination, and executive reporting, while balancing BAU with major releases and driving automation and governance improvements.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of progressive experience in Release and Deployment Management within complex enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL-based Change and Release Management processes.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Change Management workflows and CAB coordination.
• Experience managing weekly release cadences, emergency hotfixes, and production deployments.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve Release Management processes, aligning with enterprise standards and governance.
• Create and manage end-to-end release plans: scheduling, coordination, risk management, and windows.
• Conduct release/change planning and risk reviews; ensure rollback and incident response plans.
• Oversee operational readiness and quality gates; provide executive visibility into risk posture.
• Investigate issues, perform RCA, and develop collision avoidance strategies.
• Provide SME guidance across Release Management, Test Environment, Development, QA, and support.
• Identify, escalate, and manage risks, dependencies, controls, and compliance requirements.
• Support production stability with 2nd/3rd line incident support and continuous improvement.
