Job summary

American Institute for English Proficiency in the Philippines is seeking a Full-Time English Language Specialist to join our dynamic team. The role involves teaching both in-office and online settings, with responsibilities in planning, progress reviews, and extra-curricular coordination.

You will deliver classroom and online instructions, craft lesson plans, assess student progress, and participate in office and marketing tasks as needed, based at our Makati and QC offices.

Qualifications

• Must have high English proficiency and strong communication skills.
• Must speak English fluently with American accent preferred.
• Must be able to work at the office onsite five days a week (some WFH set up required).
• Experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate who has a great attitude, willingness to learn, and a good level of English proficiency with American accent.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom and online (group or individual/private) instructions to students
• Write reviews and assessments on students’ learning progress
• Provide assessments and consultations, as necessary
• Participate in (and coordinate) extra-curricular activities, as necessary
• Create teaching modules and lesson plans, as needed
• Perform other related duties, i.e.: office management, marketing, and operations required by the role
