Job summary

Fresh N'Famous Foods Inc. - Chowking is seeking an Engineering Supervisor for Refrigeration - Freon Technology to ensure reliable operation and continuous improvement of our refrigeration and utility systems at our Muntinlupa site.

You will lead maintenance programs, manage CAPEX projects, and drive sustainability initiatives while coordinating with the Engineering Manager and QA teams. Onsite reporting in Sucat, Muntinlupa is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with valid PRC license.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in food manufacturing.
• Hands-on refrigeration Freon technology operation and maintenance.
• Knowledge of process equipment, ventilation, electrical, steam, and water systems.
• Sustainability and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead operation, maintenance, and performance optimization of refrigeration, ventilation, and utility systems (including electrical, boiler, wastewater, and air compressor facilities).
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs, oversee CAPEX projects, and drive sustainability initiatives for resource efficiency and cost reduction.
• Manage third-party service providers and ensure compliance with standards, safety and quality systems.
• Support plant operations as Officer of the Day, participate in governance meetings, and monitor utility performance through daily log reviews.
• Collaborate with the Engineering Manager on reports and projects, lead corrective actions, and participate in QM, EOSH, and FSSC audits.

The Engineering Supervisor forRefrigeration - Freon Technology will play a key role in ensuring the reliable operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our refrigeration and utility systems. This position is ideal for an engineering professional with strong technical expertise in refrigeration systems and utility operations within a food manufacturing environment.

• Lead the operation, maintenance, and performance optimization of refrigeration, ventilation, and other utility systems, including electrical, boiler, wastewater, and air compressor facilities.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs, oversee CAPEX projects, and drive sustainability initiatives focused on resource efficiency and cost reduction.
• Manage third-party service providers and ensure compliance with operational standards, safety requirements, and quality systems.
• Support plant operations by serving as Officer of the Day when required, participating in governance meetings, and monitoring utility performance through daily log sheet reviews.
• Collaborate with the Engineering Manager on reports and projects while leading corrective actions and participating in QM, EOSH, and FSSC audits to ensure regulatory and food safety compliance.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or any related Engineering discipline, with a valid PRC license.
• Minimum of three(3) years of relevant experience preferably in Food Manufacturing environment
• Hands-on experience inRefrigeration Freon Technology operation and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of process equipment, ventilation systems, electrical power systems, steam systems, compressed air systems, water systems, and rotating equipment maintenance.
• Experience in utilities management, preventive maintenance, and engineering project implementation.
• Background in sustainability and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Must be willing to report onsite inSucat, Muntinlupa.
