Job summary

Gardenia Bakeries (Philippines), Inc. is seeking an Engineering Technician I to troubleshoot breakdowns and sustain continuous improvement on equipment.

The role involves setting up and maintaining machinery to meet utilization and productivity goals in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The position requires a technical engineering education, at least 2 years of related experience, and willingness to work shifting schedules, including extended hours and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must have Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate or Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in related field.
• Willing to work on shifting schedule, extended hours, and during holidays.
• PLC Programming, Hydraulic and Pneumatic Troubleshooting are required skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot breakdowns and malfunctions during operations to maintain equipment performance.
• Set up and maintain equipment in accordance with utilization and productivity goals.

Job Description:

The Engineering Technician I will be performing troubleshooting in any breakdown malfunction encountered during operations while sustaining continuous improvement on equipment in accordance to corporate goals.

The post holder will be responsible in setting up and maintaining equipment in accordance with the company's utilization and productivity goals for every instance as needed.

Qualifications:

• Candidate must possess at least a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate, Bachelor's/College Degree , Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent
• At least two (2) yrs. of working experience in the related field
• Willing to work on a shifting schedule, extended hours, and during holidays
• Required Skills: PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) Programming, Hydraulic and Pneumatic Troubleshooting.
