Job summary

Teradyne is seeking a Technical Writer in Cebu, Philippines to develop clear, user-focused technical documentation supporting engineering, manufacturing, quality, and service teams. You will translate complex technical information into practical procedures, reports, guides, and communications to improve process consistency and knowledge transfer.

You will document root cause analyses, corrective actions, failure trends, and lifecycle documentation, while collaborating with cross-functional teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree as listed above.
• 2–4 years of experience in technical documentation or related fields.
• Experience creating technical procedures, process documents, work instructions, service guides, training materials, reports, or customer/field communications.
• Knowledge of documentation control, revision management, quality systems, audit preparation, and structured technical reporting.
• Ability to summarize root cause analyses, corrective actions, failure trends, engineering changes, regulatory information, and lifecycle documentation clearly.
• Strong attention to detail, clear technical communication, process-oriented thinking, collaboration, and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain technical procedures, process documentation, service manuals, training materials, and user-facing content.
• Document root cause analyses, corrective actions, failure trends, and engineering investigation outcomes.
• Support engineering change, revision control, and lifecycle documentation, including change records and transition guides.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, manufacturing, service, and field teams to gather inputs and convert them into documentation.
• Prepare compliance, audit-readiness, customer communications, safety notices, and field-support documentation as needed.
