Job summary

PeopleStrong in the Philippines seeks a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering holder with at least 5 years in Quality Control and fabrication inspection.

Responsibilities include measuring with instruments, knowledge of ASME Sec 9, WPS/PQR, NDT VT/UT/MT/PT at Level II, QA plan preparation, and ISO 9001 internal auditing.

Experience with steam turbines/generators a plus; strong teamwork and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in Quality Control and inspection of Fabrication components.
• Experience with fabrication processes and QA requirements.
• ASME Sec 9, WPS and PQR knowledge preferred.
• ASNT Level II certification in NDT VT/UT/MT/PT is required.
• Ability to prepare QAP and inspection protocols/ CTQs.
• Internal auditor experience for ISO 9001 is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect fabrication components and ensure QC standards.
• Apply measurement techniques and use measuring instruments.
• Prepare QAP and inspection protocols/ CTQ definitions.
• Support ISO 9001 internal audit processes.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure quality across projects.

Job Description

Applicant should be Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, with minimum 5years' experience in Quality Control and inspection of Fabrication components.

• Should have process knowledge of Fabrication.
• Should have hands on experience in measurement, handling of measuring instruments & Painting inspection.
• Should have knowledge of ASME Sec 9, WPS and PQR.
• Should have knowledge of material.
• Should be Qualified in ASNT level II certification in NDT techniques - VT , UT, MT and PT.
• Should have experience in Preparation of QAP and Inspection protocol/CTQ's.
• Should be an internal auditor in ISO 9001.
• Should have Good Communication skills and comfortable to work in team.
• Should have knowledge of steam Turbine and Generators components. Preferable
