Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking a capable Electronics Engineer for manufacturing support in process set-up and problem isolation in the Philippines.

You will conduct analysis on quality issues, drive yield improvements, and initiate cost-reduction projects. Responsibilities include root-cause analysis for LY and LRR, data collection for visual/mechanical issues, understanding test requirements, training technicians, and performing internal quality audits or gemba walks to support company

Qualifications

• BS Electronics/Electrical/Computer Engineering degree required.
• 0-2 years work experience expected.
• Strong understanding of electronics fundamentals and analytical skills.
• Good in oral and written communication.

Job Description:

Provide manufacturing support in process set-up and problem isolation. Conduct analysis on quality issues, improve yield and lot rejection rate. Generate test specifications, initiate projects for cost reduction and process improvement. Help meet or exceed the company goals (KRA) in product, yield, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Graduate of BS Electronics/Electrical/Computer Engineering




• With 0-2 years work experience




• Good in electronics fundamentals and analytical skills. Good in oral and written communication.




• Proficient use of computer software (MS Office).




• A team player and can communicate effectively with others.




• Ability to work independently and systematically.




• Basic knowledge in programming language such C, or C++ is an advantage.
