Job summary

MERALCO is seeking an Energy Solutions Development Lead to identify, design, and validate new energy solutions aligned with customer needs and the company’s energy transition goals. The role drives the front-end innovation lifecycle from opportunity discovery through pilot readiness, acting as an Incubation Product Manager and coordinating with BAU teams.

Qualifications

5–7 years of experience in product management, innovation, or related fields.
Experience in energy, utilities, renewable energy, or related sectors preferred.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and develop business cases.

Responsibilities

Identify and assess emerging customer needs, market opportunities, regulatory developments, and technology trends.
Develop solution concepts, value propositions, customer journeys, and business requirements.
Lead the development of business cases, financial models, and investment recommendations for proposed solutions.
Engage regulators, government agencies, industry groups, and strategic partners to support solution development and deployment.
Evaluate emerging technologies and coordinate PoC, prototype, and MVP initiatives for validation.
Endorse validated solutions for pilot implementation and commercialization in collaboration with delivery teams.
Contribute to process improvements in discovery, validation, incubation, and commercialization.
