  • Conduct routine energy audits and identify high-consumption areas and power waste.

  • Optimize motors, compressors, HVAC, and other heavy machinery.

  • Improve power quality, load balancing, and power factor.

  • Implement energy-saving initiatives and efficiency upgrades.

  • Evaluate ROI for energy-efficiency projects.

  • Ensure compliance with national energy efficiency and safety standards.

Centralized Solar Power Monitoring & Management

  • Monitor solar generation, inverter efficiency, and grid integration.

  • Use EMS and SCADA for centralized performance analysis and clean energy tracking.

  • Coordinate solar array maintenance, cleaning, and performance optimization.

  • Oversee PV generation across multiple plants and sites.

  • Manage multi-site Solar PPA and Net Metering contracts.

  • Diagnose generation losses caused by weather conditions or inverter issues.

Energy Procurement & Contract Management

  • Provide technical inputs, load profiles, and demand forecasts for electricity procurement, RES contracts, and contestable market negotiations.

  • Develop technical specifications and evaluate energy performance for heavy machinery, HVAC systems, and electrical equipment upgrades.

  • Prepare CAPEX budgets for grid improvements, system upgrades, and modern equipment retrofits.

DOE Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure facility compliance with RA 11285 and DOE guidelines for Designated Establishments (DE).

  • Prepare and submit required Annual Energy Conservation Reports (AECR/AER) and Energy Conservation Programs (AECP) to the DOE within prescribed deadlines.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or similar field).

  • Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) license is highly preferred.

  • Certified Energy Manager (CEM) or solar technician training is a major plus.

  • 5+ years of experience managing utility operations or energy portfolios.

  • Proven background in handling distributed, multi-site manufacturing networks.

  • Mastery of remote monitoring software, power quality meters, and grid synchronization.
