Job summary

Optum is seeking an I/O Engineering Consultant to deliver reliable device management in a Dual UEM environment using MECM/SCCM, Intune, and Workspace ONE UEM. You will own daily endpoint engineering, OS servicing, patching, and configuration while upholding security and ITSM standards.

The role emphasizes automation, AI-enabled improvements, and participation in major incident bridges to reduce MTTR and improve user experience.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years of Omnissa Workspace ONE UEM administration (profiles, Smart Groups, app distribution, compliance).
• Core skills: MECM/SCCM, Microsoft Intune, Dual UEM operations.
• PowerShell scripting for automation and remediation.
• Experience with ITSM processes and rapid restoration in war rooms.

Responsibilities

• Platform Operations, Health & Availability management.
• Administer MECM components, Intune and Workspace ONE UEM with coexistence.
• Monitor enrollment, policy/app deployment success, and client health.
• Lead incident war rooms, document restoration actions, and drive MTTR reduction.
• Develop automation and AI-driven improvements for log parsing and runbooks.
