Job summary

UPTC in the Philippines (Taguig) is seeking a Payroll Specialist to process, validate, and pay employees across multiple EMEA entities according to HR instructions. You will maintain accurate payroll data and ensure deductions and reporting meet local requirements, working with the Payroll Manager and external vendors.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, 3–5 years of end-to-end payroll experience, basic accounting knowledge, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• 3–5 years of end-to-end payroll experience with knowledge of payroll practices.
• Basic accounting and payroll experience including calculation and taxation for EMEA.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Process, validate, and pay employees accurately per HR instructions.
• Maintain payroll records and ensure deductions and reporting comply with local requirements.
• Collaborate with Payroll Manager, HR partners, and third-party vendors across multiple countries in the EMEA region.
• Prepare and review payroll journals and ensure timely processing.
• Support year-end processing and payroll audits; address employee payroll queries.
