Job summary

Cheyenne Mountain District 12 is seeking an Elementary Special Education Teacher to address current student needs at specific schools and to work with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder. The role requires strong background in instructional strategies and appropriate programming for elementary students with ASD.

Position is 1.0 FTE with 182 workdays per year; salary is on the Licensed Salary Schedule and includes full-time benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or equivalent required.
• READ Act designation or in process required.
• Special Education Generalist License (5-21) or Endorsement required.

Responsibilities

• Address current student needs at specific schools as assigned.
• Utilize instructional strategies and programming for elementary students with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
