Job summary

Radtelcom Technologies Corporation in General Santos City, South Cotabato, seeks an experienced Electronics and Communications Engineer to join our engineering team. This full-time role focuses on design, development, and optimisation of electronic and communications systems for cutting-edge telecommunications solutions.

You will work with cross-functional teams, perform simulations and testing, prepare technical documentation, and mentor junior staff while staying abreast of industry advances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Communications Engineering.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience as Electronics & Communications Engineer or similar.
• Strong knowledge of circuit design, signal processing and telecom principles.
• Proficiency with CAD tools and simulation (MATLAB, SPICE or equivalents).
• Experience with GSM/LTE/Wi-Fi or similar telecom protocols.
• RF/microwave fundamentals and practical design experience.
• Excellent problem-solving and team communication skills.
• Professional certification (PE) preferred.

About the role

Radtelcom Technologies Corporation is seeking an experienced Electronics and Communications Engineer to join our engineering team in General Santos City, South Cotabato. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in the design, development, and optimisation of our electronic and communications systems. As an Electronics and Communications Engineer, you will be responsible for driving innovation in our product offerings and ensuring that our solutions meet the highest standards of quality and performance. This role is essential to our mission of delivering cutting-edge telecommunications and electronics technology to our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop electronic circuits and communications systems utilising industry-standard tools and methodologies


• Conduct technical analysis and troubleshooting of existing electronic and communications equipment to identify areas for improvement


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate project requirements into detailed engineering specifications


• Perform simulations, testing, and validation of electronic designs to ensure compliance with technical standards and regulatory requirements


• Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including schematics, design reports, and installation guidelines


• Oversee the implementation and commissioning of communications systems at client sites


• Monitor system performance and provide recommendations for maintenance and upgrades


• Stay current with advancements in electronics and communications technology to identify opportunities for innovation


• Provide technical support and mentoring to junior engineering staff as required

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, or a related discipline


• Proven experience of 3-5 years working as an Electronics and Communications Engineer or in a similar technical role


• Strong knowledge of electronic circuit design, signal processing, and telecommunications principles


• Proficiency with computer-aided design (CAD) software and simulation tools such as MATLAB, SPICE, or equivalent


• Experience with telecommunications protocols and standards (e.g., GSM, LTE, Wi-Fi, or similar)


• Solid understanding of RF (radio frequency) and microwave engineering concepts


• Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in team environments


• Professional certification (e.g., Professional Engineer or equivalent) is preferred


• Experience with project management and meeting technical deadlines
