Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd seeks an experienced EDI Integrations Lead to own the end-to-end EDI function and trading partner portfolio. You will manage the integration roadmap, platform health, and vendor relationships while directing one analyst and reporting to IT and business leadership.

You will design architecture across EDI, ERP, and downstream systems, establish KPI-driven operation, and drive continuous improvement through incidents, mapping defects, and automation opportunities.

Qualifications

• +10 years of hands-on EDI across development, integration, and operations.
• Expert command of X12 transaction sets and standards used for PO, invoice, ASN, etc.
• Experience owning a production EDI environment including incident response.
• Delivered trading partner onboardings end to end from requirements to go-live.
• Owned a technology vendor relationship with SLAs and escalation governance.
• Delivery across a portfolio of concurrent initiatives with strict deadlines.
• Working knowledge of Azure DevOps, backlog structure, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own the trading partner integration portfolio: scope, sequence, dependencies, and delivery dates.
• Own onboarding cycle time and on-time delivery as measured outcomes.
• Set integration roadmap aligned with Supply Chain, Finance, Pricing, and Commercial Ops.
• Act as final technical authority on EDI standards, transaction sets, and mapping design.
• Design integration architecture across EDI, ERP, and downstream systems.
• Produce written plans in Azure DevOps before build starts for each initiative.
• Own planning, tracking, and agile ceremonies with sprint plans and burndown reviews.
• Maintain rolling quarterly backlog two to four weeks ahead.
• Surface schedule risk with causes, impacts, and options; escalate timely.
• Own EDI platform health, transaction reliability, KPI reporting, and incident response.
• Drive root-cause elimination and service improvement plans.
• Maintain DSCSA serialization and EPCIS reporting obligations.
• Identify cross-team/vendor dependencies and mitigations.
• Represent the company in partner escalations up to leadership.
• Direct and develop one EDI analyst with a quarterly development plan.
• Deliver executive-level EDI performance reporting to IT and business leadership.

Position: EDI Integrations Lead

Overview:

We are seeking an EDI Integrations Lead to own our electronic data interchange function end to end. You will own the trading partner integration portfolio, the operational service behind it, the platform vendor relationship, and the technical standard the function runs to. You will be the last stop for any EDI escalation, and you will direct one analyst.

Responsibilities:

Integration delivery

• Own the trading partner integration portfolio: scope, sequence, dependencies, and committed delivery dates across concurrent onboardings
• Own onboarding cycle time and on-time delivery as measured outcomes, not as reported status
• Set the integration roadmap against Supply Chain, Finance, Pricing, and Commercial Operations priorities each quarter

EDI standards and solution design

• Act as the final technical authority on EDI standards, transaction sets, and mapping design for the enterprise
• Design integration architecture across the EDI platform, ERP, and downstream systems, including reusable transaction map patterns
• Resolve standards conflicts, transaction rejections, and mapping defects at the segment level
• Identify and scope automation across inbound and outbound transaction flows

Planning and delivery discipline

• Produce a written plan in Azure DevOps before build starts on every initiative, with work breakdown, dependencies, estimates, risks, and launch criteria
• Own the planning, tracking, and agile ceremony standard for the function. Sprint plans complete before sprint start, burndown reviewed weekly.
• Maintain a rolling quarterly backlog with sprint-level detail two to four weeks ahead, including predictable non-project work
• Surface schedule risk in the week you see it, with cause, impact, options, and a recommendation. Escalate before the date moves, not after.

Service reliability and operations

• Own EDI platform health, transaction reliability, and incident response across all production integrations
• Define, publish, and report the operational KPI set: onboarding cycle time, transaction error rate, acknowledgment performance, uptime, and incident resolution
• Drive root cause elimination on recurring incidents. Own service improvement plans against measured baselines.
• Maintain compliance-relevant data flows, including DSCSA serialization and EPCIS reporting obligations

Risk and dependency management

• Identify cross-team, vendor, and partner dependencies during planning and build mitigation into plans and launch criteria
• Maintain a forward risk view across the partner portfolio and platform, naming exposures before they affect committed dates
• Escalate blocking dependencies with a recommended path forward

Partner and vendor management

• Own the EDI platform vendor relationship: contract posture, service level structure, support model, and governance cadence
• Manage trading partner relationships through onboarding, testing, go-live, and steady-state operation
• Represent the company in partner escalations up to and including partner leadership

Technical leadership and coaching

• Direct and develop one EDI analyst, including career ladder placement, skill gap assessment, and a written development plan reviewed quarterly
• Maintain documentation and cross-training sufficient to remove single-resource knowledge risk from the function
• Set the technical standard for the function and review the technical work of others
• Deliver executive-level reporting and analysis on EDI performance to IT and business leadership

Qualifications:

• +10 years of hands-on EDI experience across development, integration, and operations
• Expert command of X12 transaction sets and standards, including purchase order, invoice, advance ship notice, chargeback, acknowledgment, and inventory or sales reporting transactions
• You have owned a production EDI environment, including incident response and platform health, not just built to spec
• You have delivered trading partner onboardings end to end, from requirements through go-live
• You have owned a technology vendor relationship, including service level and escalation governance
• You have delivered against committed dates across a portfolio of concurrent initiatives, not one project at a time
• Deep working knowledge of Azure DevOps or an equivalent work management platform, including backlog structure, work breakdown, and reporting
• You have integrated EDI with an ERP platform. NetSuite is a plus.
• You have delivered in a regulated environment with external audit or compliance obligations (FDA, DEA, DSCSA, SOC 2, SOX, or GxP)
• Working knowledge of AS2, SFTP, and VAN connectivity models
• You can carry technical detail and business impact to an executive audience in the same conversation
• Strong written and verbal English, working directly with US-based stakeholders
