Job summary

LCC - Liberty Commercial Center Inc. in Legazpi is seeking a Facilities Engineer (Electromechanical) to oversee operation, maintenance, and improvement of mall electromechanical systems, ensuring safe, reliable, and energy-efficient performance.

You will lead preventive maintenance, manage contractors, support project upgrades, and ensure safety compliance across MEPF systems to support tenants and shoppers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Licensed Engineer preferred.
• 2–3 years facilities or engineering experience, ideally in mall, commercial, retail, or property management.
• Strong knowledge of MEPF (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing & Fire Protection) systems.
• Proficient in technical and maintenance planning, equipment troubleshooting, and contractor management.
• Good communication and coordination skills, with strong safety and compliance mindset.
• Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, or holidays as mall operations require.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and preventive/corrective maintenance of electromechanical equipment (HVAC, generators, transformers, electrical wiring, pumps, chillers, elevators, escalators, fire protection).
• Conduct inspections, performance monitoring, and diagnostics of M&E systems to ensure optimal functioning.
• Plan and implement preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and prolong equipment life.
• Coordinate and supervise contractors and service providers for repairs and major servicing.
• Assist in planning, evaluation, and execution of facilities improvement projects and energy optimization initiatives.
• Review technical designs and as-built drawings relevant to M&E systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards including electrical and fire safety codes.
• Maintain documentation on maintenance, service records, utilities consumption, and compliance reports.
