Job summary

AB Composites Engineering Services is seeking a reliable Electrician for a temporary 3-month contract to handle installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across residential and commercial properties.

You will ensure electrical infrastructure complies with the Philippine Electrical Code and OSHS, perform diagnostics with meters, and uphold safety standards. Candidates should have TESDA NC II (EIM) and experience in building maintenance.

Qualifications

• TESDA NC II (EIM) required; RME license is a plus.

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Electrician to handle electrical installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across our residential/commercial properties and facilities. You will ensure all electrical infrastructure operates smoothly, efficiently, and strictly complies with the Philippine Electrical Code (PEC) and Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSHS).

This is a temporary 3-month contract during scheduled renovations.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation & Upgrades: Install conduits, rough-ins, wiring, switches, outlets, panel boards, circuit breakers, and lighting fixtures.

• Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose electrical faults, short circuits, voltage drops, and equipment failures using multimeters, clamp meters, and standard diagnostic tools.

• Compliance & Safety: Enforce safety protocols, lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures, and ensure all wiring and fixtures meet local fire and building code requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Certifications: TESDA National Certificate II (NC II) in Electrical Installation & Maintenance (EIM) required; Registered Master Electrician (RME) license from the PRC is an advantage.

• Experience: Minimum of 1-3 years hands-on experience in residential, commercial, or building maintenance.

• Technical Skills:

  • Ability to read and interpret single-line diagrams, schematic layouts, and architectural floor plans.

  • Proficiency with standard hand and power tools for electrical works (strippers, benders, conduit threaders, diagnostic meters).

• Work Readiness:

  • Willingness to work Monday to Saturday

  • Strong adherence to personal protective equipment (PPE) and workplace safety standards.
