Job summary

Cavite Contracting Services Inc. in Imus City, Cavite, is seeking a dedicated Electrical Worker/Maintenance professional to join our team.

This full-time role focuses on safe installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems for our diverse commercial and industrial projects. You will read blueprints, diagnose faults, perform preventive servicing, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance with high workmanship standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Electrical Worker or in electrical maintenance within the construction or contracting industry
• Technical qualifications or certifications in electrical work, such as NEC certification or equivalent local certification
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring practices, and safety protocols
• Proficiency with electrical testing and diagnostic equipment, including multimeters
• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and technical documentation
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Physical fitness to perform manual labour, including working at heights and in confined spaces
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to project sites as required
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship
• Experience with commercial or industrial electrical systems is highly desirable

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in compliance with local building codes and safety regulations
• Diagnose electrical faults and malfunctions using appropriate testing equipment and tools
• Perform routine maintenance and preventative servicing on electrical systems to minimise downtime and ensure optimal performance
• Repair or replace faulty electrical components, including switches, outlets, circuit breakers, and lighting systems
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide installation and repair work
• Troubleshoot electrical problems and identify solutions in a timely and cost-effective manner
• Ensure all work areas are kept clean and safe, adhering strictly to health and safety protocols
• Collaborate with project managers, other tradespeople, and clients to ensure project objectives are met
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work completed
• Keep up-to-date with industry standards and best practices in electrical work
