Mighty Lynx Solutions Inc. in Metro Manila, Philippines, is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design electrical control panels and associated systems.
You will create panel layouts, schematics, SLDs, and wiring diagrams using CAD; configure ATS systems; select components; ensure code compliance; and support assembly, testing, and commissioning. Design electrical control panels according to project specifications and industry standards.
Develop panel layouts, schematics, single line diagrams (SLD), and wiring diagrams using CAD software.
Design, configure, and troubleshoot Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) systems and controllers based on project requirements.
Select appropriate components such as circuit breakers, relays, switches, controllers, and meters for panel assembly.
Ensure that panel designs comply with applicable electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Identify and source electrical components required for panel assembly.
Oversee panel assembly and control wiring by collaborating with technicians and electricians to ensure accurate installation.
Conduct functional tests, inspections, and commissioning activities to verify panel performance, ATS functionality, and overall system safety.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to electrical panels, control wiring, ATS, and controller systems.
Provide technical support and guidance to fabricators, technicians, and electricians during panel assembly and installation.
Communicate project status, milestones, and potential risks to stakeholders.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization in panel design and assembly.
Participate in design reviews and contribute to product enhancements.
Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in electrical panel technology.
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
At least one (1) year of proven experience in electrical panel design and development.
Proficient in 2D CAD software for panel layout, schematics, and wiring diagram preparation.
Knowledgeable in Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) systems and controllers.
Ability to read, interpret, and prepare Single Line Diagrams (SLD).
Strong knowledge of control wiring, electrical components, circuits, and electrical systems.
Experience in electrical panel assembly, testing, and commissioning is an advantage.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Certification or licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE) is an advantage.
