OS1 Solutions Inc in Metro Manila is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design systems, create schematics, and plan wiring for new projects, including power distribution and lighting.
You will research and test equipment, manage installation and maintenance, ensure compliance with codes, collaborate with architects and construction teams, and prepare documentation to support project specifications.
Job Responsibilities:
Design Electrical Systems: Create detailed electrical designs, schematics, and plans for new projects, including power distribution systems, lighting, and wiring.
Conduct Research: Research and analyze electrical systems, components, and materials to identify potential improvements and cost-effective solutions.
System Testing & Troubleshooting: Test electrical equipment, systems, and components to ensure proper functionality and troubleshoot any issues or faults.
Project Management: Oversee the installation, maintenance, and operation of electrical systems, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Compliance and Safety: Ensure all electrical work adheres to national and international electrical codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
Collaboration: Work with other engineers, architects, and construction teams to integrate electrical systems into overall project designs.
Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and procedures to keep electrical systems running smoothly.
Documentation: Prepare technical reports, manuals, and documentation for designs, systems, and project specifications.
Budget and Cost Control: Estimate the cost of electrical materials and equipment for projects and monitor expenses to stay within budget.
Client Liaison: Communicate with clients to understand their electrical needs, present project updates, and suggest improvements or alternatives.
Skills and Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Knowledge of electrical design software (AutoCAD, MATLAB, etc.).
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and project management skills.
Familiarity with electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
