Job summary

Recruitify_HR is seeking an Electrical Engineer fresh graduate to design solar PV systems, including layouts, SLDs and inverter placement for rooftop and ground-mounted projects. You will size loads, perform wire sizing and select protection gear while conducting site studies and feasibility analyses.

You will oversee installation, testing and commissioning, ensuring safety, quality and regulatory compliance at every step, and coordinate with clients, contractors and utility providers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• REE license preferred or required by most employers.
• Fresh graduate only.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, PVsyst, Helioscope or similar software.
• Familiarity with the Philippine Electrical Code and local interconnection guidelines.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• System Design & Engineering: Prepare electrical layouts, single-line diagrams (SLDs), string configurations, and inverter placements for rooftop or ground-mounted solar PV systems.
• Calculations & Sizing: Compute load capacities, wire sizing, protection equipment ratings, and overall solar system sizing.
• Site Assessments: Conduct site inspections, feasibility studies, and evaluations to check existing electrical infrastructure compatibility.
• Project Execution: Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning phases while enforcing safety standards and quality control on site.
• Compliance & Coordination: Ensure adherence to local regulatory codes and coordinate smoothly with clients, contractors, and utility providers.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• License: Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) preferred or required by most project-based employers.
• Experience: Fresh graduate only.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, PVsyst, Helioscope, or similar electrical layout and simulation software.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with the Philippine Electrical Code (PEC) and local utility interconnection guidelines.
